MAREK BROTHERS SYSTEMS, INC.
Marek Brother Systems, Inc. San Antonio. We are a family owned sub-contracting company specializing in metal stud framing, drywall, and acoustical ceilings. We focus primarily on commercial projects of all sizes. We have the largest and most experienced management staff and field in South Texas.
Community Involvement:
Our WFD works with Northside ISD Construction Careers Academy. Our WFD works with the Construction Science & management program at Alamo Community College, St. Phillip’s campus. MBS is on the founder’s list of the newly formed Construction Industry Advisory Council supporting the Construction Science and Management at the University of Texas San Antonio. We support the Wounded Warriors program each Holiday season, organized by ABC. Our annual customer appreciation golf tournament has a fund raising mechanism to benefit the Dewitt Churchwell Excellence in Construction Scholarship fund. MBS is on the Founders list for the Dewitt Churchwell Excellence in Construction Scholarship fund.
Awards and Achievements:
MBS was honored with the ABC Presidents award as “Subcontractor of the Year” at the 2009 ABC Excellence in Construction Awards Banquet. MBS San Antonio has received ABC STEP (Safety training and evaluation process) Award at the Gold level in each year of eligibility.
In 2009 MBS was recognized for involvement in the following ABC Excellence in Construction award winning projects:
