Marek Brothers Systems Dallas finished working on the prestigious American Airlines Center Arena, in July, 2001. The American Airlines Center is home to the Dallas Mavericks basketball team and the Dallas Stars hockey team. The Center is also hosting many different center-stage events. Along with contractor Austin Commercial, Marek Brothers Systems helped to put together a first class entertainment center.

The American Airlines Center is located in downtown Dallas in the center of the Victory Development, controlled by Hillwood Development. The American Airlines Center is designed by David M. Schwarz and HKS INC. and has 19,200 NBA Basketball seats, 18,000 NHL Hockey seats, and 20,000 Center-Staged event seats. The arena also has 138 luxury suites.

The American Airlines Center is being called a high tech center for entertainment with certain seats having the capacity to be online while watching an event. Responsible for a big portion of the job Marek Brothers Systems worked on the exterior framing, interior framing, sheathing, furrdowns, light coves, acoustical ceilings, GRG molding, drywall, and abuse resistant drywall that will be installed in the public areas up to 8 feet.

Taking on a project of this size can be all consuming. Thanks to project manager Glenn McBride along with field supervisors Robert Brazel, Joe Rodriguez, Terry Higgs, Rolando maldonado, and with the support of a 120-men crew the American Airlines Center was completed with the highest quality workmanship in 2001.
