AGC Awards
Safety is a recognized priority at Marek Brothers Systems Austin: just ask the Associated General Contractors of America!
Our MBS Austin office received not one, not two, not three, but four safety awards at a May employer appreciation event that recognized calendar year 2001 records.
Our employees were recognized in four separate categories:
·Excellent Safety Record 2001, at 25% below division accident rates
·ZERO Incidence Rate - 50,000 work hours and over
·ZERO Lost Workdays
·Category IX Drywall/Acoustical Contractors
On hand to receive these awards were Darral Quebedueax, Safety Manager for MBS Austin, shaking hands with AGC representatives, and Floyd Zahn, at far left, a 20 year employee and Foreman on several major 2001 projects including the Texas State Historical Museum.
" Absolutely, we are proud of these achievements and appreciate the AGC for recognizing our focus here in Austin," says Clark O'Briant, MBS Austin Production Manager. " It takes a lot of effort on everyone's part to make these benchmarks, and we are just thankful for good field leadership and dedicated employees that understand how we want them to work."
