Marek was selected to work on this project to continue developing the vastly expanding Texas A&M Campus in San Antonio. The Central Academic Building is 170,750 square feet and offers multiple floors of classrooms, lecture halls, as well as an auditorium with a focus on encouraging student interaction.
One interesting aspect of this job was that the dome was constructed on the ground and then lifted into place by a crane.
