We are proud to share that MAREK has been awarded the CISCA Gold Award for our work on the National Medal of Honor Museum, a project that stands as a powerful tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and service of our nation’s heroes.
This project called for an exceptional level of precision, coordination, and craftsmanship. The museum’s design pushed the boundaries of acoustical ceiling systems, with complex geometries, custom integrations, and close coordination with surrounding trades. Every detail mattered. From layout to execution, the team approached the work with a clear understanding of what this space represents and the responsibility that comes with building it.
Our field teams played a critical role in bringing this vision to life. Their ability to adapt, problem-solve, and deliver high-quality work under demanding conditions made the difference. Project leadership ensured strong coordination with the general contractor and trade partners, keeping the work aligned and moving forward. Behind the scenes, support teams contributed to planning, procurement, and execution, helping ensure consistency from start to finish.
The National Medal of Honor Museum is more than a project. It is a place that tells the stories of individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary valor. Being part of building a space that will educate and inspire future generations is something this team will carry with them for years to come.
This recognition reflects the skill, pride, and commitment that went into every phase of the work. Congratulations to everyone involved in delivering a project that truly stands apart.
