Chick-fil-A sought to transform a 120,000-square-foot warehouse into a state-of-the-art workplace for its corporate marketing and field operations teams. The adaptive reuse project called for reimagining an industrial shell into a modern, functional, and visually engaging office environment.
The existing structure offered generous ceiling heights and open spans but required precise execution to achieve the architect’s contemporary vision. The space featured bold geometric shapes, clear and color-infused glass, and custom lighting, all integrated with reclaimed wood, polished concrete, and finished stainless steel. This blend of materials demanded close coordination between trades to balance the modern finishes with the original warehouse aesthetic.
MAREK partnered with RJ Griffin to complete the interior drywall assemblies, ceilings, and acoustical solutions that helped define the open and collaborative atmosphere of the new workspace.
Our team worked carefully around existing structural elements to install high ceilings and complex framing layouts that supported the architect’s geometric design. Special attention was given to the integration of acoustical ceilings, ensuring that the open plan maintained both visual impact and sound control.
Through teamwork, precise craftsmanship, and close collaboration with the general contractor and architect, the former warehouse was successfully transformed into a vibrant, modern headquarters that captures the spirit of innovation and hospitality that defines Chick-fil-A’s brand.
