The National Medal of Honor Museum in Arlington, Texas was designed to honor the courage and sacrifice of America’s Medal of Honor recipients through a bold architectural statement. The project featured highly complex design elements, including a suspended exhibit hall elevated 40 feet above ground and supported by five massive concrete columns representing each branch of the U.S. Armed Forces. Achieving this vision required precision engineering and expert craftsmanship to bring the intricate design to life.
Unlike traditional military museums, this institution focuses on the personal stories of heroism and resilience.
SolutionMAREK partnered with Linbeck and RVA to complete the drywall, framing, wall panels, and ceiling systems throughout the museum. Our team performed detailed prefabrication and installation of a sub-framing system for façade panels imported from Argentina. With more than 688 receiver clips installed using laser controls, string lines, and GPS coordinates, every element requires a high level of accuracy and coordination.
The result was a one-of-a-kind facility that blends artistry and technical excellence. The museum now stands as both a place of reflection and a powerful tribute to the heroes it represents, showcasing what is possible when design vision meets skilled execution.
