Challenge

The Quinta Mazatlan Center for Urban Ecology in McAllen, Texas, was designed to expand opportunities for environmental education and create a welcoming destination where visitors can connect with the region’s unique ecosystem. Bringing that vision to life required careful coordination across multiple interior and exterior building systems, ensuring every element supported the project’s architectural design, long-term performance, and visitor experience.

Solution

In partnership with SpawGlass and Megamorphosis Design, MAREK provided metal framing, exterior sheathing with ZIP system insulated boards, drywall, acoustical and specialty ceilings, and specialty wall panels. Through close collaboration, quality craftsmanship, and attention to detail, our team helped deliver spaces that support education, exploration, and community engagement while bringing the project’s vision to life.
