Texas Regional Bank’s new 42,000-square-foot headquarters in Harlingen was designed to reflect the institution’s growth and commitment to South Texas. The four-story facility integrates multiple business functions under one roof, with the first level dedicated to banking, mortgage, and wealth management services. The second floor houses administrative departments, while the upper levels include executive offices, conference rooms, a kitchen, a lounge, and a media room.
MAREK was selected to perform interior framing, drywall assemblies, and acoustical ceilings throughout the new facility. The challenge involved executing a detailed interior scope across multiple levels with a mix of open offices, high-end executive areas, and customer-facing spaces. The design required clean transitions between drywall and ceiling systems, precise alignments, and durable finishes that supported both aesthetics and daily functionality.
SolutionMAREK partnered with SpawGlass and Boultinghouse Simpson Gates Architects to deliver interiors that matched the bank’s professional image and performance expectations. The team installed precise framing and drywall assemblies to shape both open and enclosed environments, integrating acoustical ceilings that improved sound control and complemented the modern design.
Clear communication and coordination across trades, MAREK maintained efficiency and quality while meeting the project’s schedule. The finished facility offers a seamless blend of sophistication and practicality, providing a modern workspace that supports Texas Regional Bank’s employees and clients. Through craftsmanship and collaboration, MAREK helped create a headquarters that reflects the strength and growth of one of South Texas’s leading financial institutions.
