McCarthy Mystery Dinner “Oil’s Well that Ends Well”

On Thursday, October 27th, MAREK’s DFW office held an event at the Texas Star Theater in Grapevine, Texas thanking McCarthy for being our contractor of the year and HKS for being our architect of the year. Overall we had 47 attendees show up to help us uncover the murder of Derrick Von Spindletop. Was it his wife, Seth Pool, or the two new wildcats in town? Who knows!

All guests were allowed to ask each actor one question at the end of the show in relation to solving the murder. The team of 4 who guessed correctly won a Murder Mystery T-Shirt from the Texas Star Theatre, but that’s not all they won. The guests that chose the correct killer were put in a MAREK drawing for a chance to win 1 of 5 $100 gift cards. To ensure no one walked away empty handed, each honoree was given a stainless steel MAREK tumbler filled with MAREK goodies.

During the event, Division President John Hinson ran a slideshow from his tablet showcasing past and present projects that partnered MAREK with McCarthy and HKS, which was a hit. When it’s all said and done, we can say that this event was a big success! McCarthy enjoyed it so much they are planning on setting something up at this venue for their clients.

I’d like to give kudos to Clarissa Angel and Wendy Ybarra for putting together this event and welcoming our guests as they arrived. Our success is built on a solid foundation because of our employees and our customers.
