North Atlanta High School was designed to accommodate 1,650 students and replace the existing North Atlanta High School. The new school had previously been a 56-acre IBM Corporate Campus. This project was an adaptive re-use design which includes an 11-story concrete-framed office tower, an assembly building and a 942-car parking deck. The school is set in a beautiful, dramatic terrain, and the tower straddles a scenic lake. To maintain all the beauty of the original acres, the existing, on-grade parking lots were converted into athletic venues for baseball, softball, football, tennis and track.

The additional assembly building that was constructed adjacent to the tower, houses several student activity facilities. The space had special acoustic needs to accommodate the high volume of people. There is a 600-seat auditorium, a 150-seat black box theater, music rooms, a 2,100 gymnasium and practice gym all in this building.
