When Manhattan Construction began building the new home for the Dallas Cowboys, the team faced a project unlike any other. The 2.3 million-square-foot facility was designed to host professional football, concerts, and large-scale events, all within a structure that would become the largest enclosed stadium in the NFL and the largest domed building in the world.
The challenge was not only the scale but also the coordination it required. The interior finishes demanded precision, acoustical performance, and seamless integration with other trades, all on a schedule that left little room for error.
MAREK partnered with Manhattan Construction to complete the metal framing, drywall, and acoustical ceiling systems throughout the stadium. The project called for close collaboration between multiple trades and constant communication to ensure every element aligned with the architect’s vision and the owner’s expectations.
Our teams worked systematically to:
- Coordinate with other trades to sequence work efficiently and minimize overlap.
- Install drywall and framing across large, curved surfaces that supported both design and acoustical requirements.
- Maintain quality and consistency through experienced supervision and skilled craftsmanship
This collaborative effort contributed to the successful completion of the largest enclosed stadium of its kind, providing a space capable of hosting professional sports and major entertainment events. The final result met the high standards set by the owner, architect, and general contractor while demonstrating the value of teamwork and attention to detail on a project of this scale.
