Dawson, AIA, Senior Vice President, Facilities Services, Texas Children’s Hospital; Joe Savala, Associate Vice President, Facilities Administration, The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center; Jim Stevenson, CEO, W.S. Bellows Construction Corporation; and Tom Vaughn, CEO, Vaughn Construction. I served as the panel moderator, leading the panel through a series of questions covering:

Blue Cross Blue Shield: Cameron Hills

The Blue Cross Blue Shield headquarters, situated atop Cameron Hills, provides its employees a stunning view of downtown Chattanooga and The Tennessee River. Accommodating approximately 4,500 workers, the 950,000 square foot office building offers enhanced daylight penetration while boasting an annual saving of over 20 million gallons of water.  Five buildings radiate outward from the crest of the hill, encircling a central public plaza like individuals coming together as a community.. A spine of skybridges and canopied walkways provide easy movement between buildings.

Anadarko Tower

Towering at a bold 439 feet, the 30 story Anadarko Tower consists of 807,000 square feet of office space. Consisting of 240 miles of structural metals, the tower houses the world headquarters of The Anadarko Petroleum Corporation.
