On May 15th 2014 ABC (Associated Builders and Contractors) held their annual crawfish boil and construction expo. With 150 -200 pounds of crawfish to feed the public, it was time for Kenny Ocheltree, Scott Vlasek, and myself to get the water boiling and seasoned up for some crawfish. And of course, it is time for Scott’s “world famous” boudin balls. I really don’t know if it was our crawfish, or Scotty’s boudin balls that brought so many people to our booth this year. I would like to think it was our crawfish cooking skills, but I know it probably was the boudin balls. All in all, it was a good time to get out of the office and mingle with some of our customers on a more personal and relaxed level. Many thanks to Larry and Troy Netardus, Ryan McKimmins, and John Bunce for helping out with all the people that came to the booth this year, you guys were great!! I can’t wait to participate in next year’s event. Hopefully, it will be even bigger and better.
