PROJECT OVERVIEW
In 1997 our San Antonio office had the pleasure of working on a destination hotel worthy of the Westin Name.
Westin Hotel is a distinctive retreat for business and leisure travelers alike. From its scenic vistas you see an endless expanse of majestic Live Oak groves interrupted only by creamy white limestone outcroppings, emerald fairways and sparkling pools.
The rocky terrain of the Texas Hill Country is always a challenge for this type of construction, but this developer had the forsight to turn this into a positive by using the limestone from the site itself for much of the building veneer and all of the landscape.
The shear size of and schedule of the project presented challenges in coordination available craftsmen. The San Antonio construction community exceeded expectations in all aspects, paving the way for the sizeable projects in our market.
Our scope included metal stud framing, interior and exterior, all of the gypsum board products, rough carpentry, GFRG profiles and upgraded ceilings in ballrooms and public areas.
