MAREK Dallas Conducts Novawall Workshop

On June 22, 2018, at the MAREK Dallas/Coppell branch, we launched a new program for an introduction of our services to the Architecture, Designer and General Contractor market.

We partnered with Knoll Textiles, offering a ‘Hands-On Workshop’. Stantec Architects, a growing firm in Dallas, displayed interest in learning more about us, hence the ‘workshop' idea.

MAREK Earns National Safety Award from Associated Builders and Contractors

Dallas, TX, March 22– MAREK has been named the winner of a National Safety Excellence Award from Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC). MAREK Dallas received the award March 21 during the 28th annual Excellence in Construction® Awards at ABC Convention 2018 in Long Beach, CA.

The National Safety Awards are presented in three major North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code categories: NAICS 236 – Construction of Buildings; NAICS 237 – Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction; and NAICS 238 – Specialty Trade Contractors.

We have no control over rain, snow, sleet, wind, lightning or sunshine, but we can control what happens on our job as a result of the elements. Some of the biggest problems on construction jobs are caused by wind and lightning. Wind probably causes the most accidents; lightning can be deadly.
